About EAGLE II
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a significant and continued need for information technology (IT) services to support the execution of its mission. DHS has met that need principally through the use of the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE).
The DHS Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC) within the DHS Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) has a continuing requirement for IT support services in a recompete of EAGLE. The multiple-award contract that will replace the first Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions contract, is Eagle II and will consist of two contracts — a small business contract and an unrestricted contract.
Although there is no guarantee of future work under the successor contract (except for the minimum guarantee normally included in Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts), approximately $8 billion of task orders have been awarded under the original Eagle program, which remains active. The scope of EAGLE II is expected to include:
- Engineering, design, development, implementation, and integration
- Operations and maintenance
- Software development
- Management support services
