The Proof Is in the Performance

Building Energy-Efficient Data Centers
As a trusted advisor to one of our intelligence customers, GTSI helped design a modern, zone-based power, cooling, and rack environment, complete with three-phase UPS, in-row cooling, and remote UPS monitoring with security cameras and physical threat management. The hot-aisle containment zone layout allowed the customer to standardize on a building-block approach to the data center.

Greening Initiatives
GTSI assisted one of our intelligence customers in greening its data center by implementing energy saving initiatives, correcting redundancies and inefficiencies in hardware and software, and staying ahead of the trends affecting power and energy costs. As a result, the customer was able to leverage IT resources in mission-critical projects, while reaping additional savings with desktop virtualization technologies.

Desktop and Workstation Management
GTSI worked with a partner System Integrator to provide comprehensive seat management of desktops, workstations, and associated accessories at numerous customer sites. GTSI leveraged our Integrated Supply Chain Services to create, fulfill, and manage an online catalog of products for the customer. These programs assured the solutions met the customer's strict standards and delivery requirements, and were asset tagged and imaged for each location and division.

Easing the Management of Maintenance Contracts
An intelligence customer was managing numerous support contracts with diverse expiration dates, service providers, and service levels. As well, there was no single source for accountability or to identify maintenance contract coverage information. GTSI eased management of contract maintenance for the customer by consolidating all hardware maintenance contracts into a single contract, providing an online support portal and single point of contact for support and incident management, as well as centralized multivendor incident reporting.
